About Us...

KY-IPC was founded in 2000 as a non-profit organization. Our mission is to:

  • Raise awareness and enhance public understanding about the threat that invasive plants pose to Kentucky's natural areas
  • Facilitate the sharing of information regarding the management and control of these invasive plants
  • Support research and monitoring efforts
  • Act as an educational, advisory, and technical support resource
  • Protect the state from the introduction, establishment, and spread of invasives
