About Us...

KY-IPC was founded in 2000 as a non-profit organization. Our mission is to:

Raise awareness and enhance public understanding about the threat that invasive plants pose to Kentucky's natural areas
Facilitate the sharing of information regarding the management and control of these invasive plants
Support research and monitoring efforts
Act as an educational, advisory, and technical support resource
Protect the state from the introduction, establishment, and spread of invasives
